You must:
- Be resident in the UK and classified as an RUK fee-paying student (confirmed in your Offer letter).
- Enrol at the University of Dundee in September 2026 for a full-time Undergraduate programme (excludes Nursing & Health Sciences).
- If studying Nursing & Health Sciences, see the Discover Nursing at Dundee Bursary.
- If unsure which School delivers your programme, check the course page.
- Have an annual household income under £25,000, as assessed by the Student Loans Company and provided to the University.
- Self-funding students are not eligible, as income cannot be verified.

There is no separate application required for this bursary. The University Student Funding team will assess these before confirming any award. Please note that awards cannot be made on the basis of predicted grades or without the necessary documentation.
Vice Chancellor's South-East Asia Undergraduate Scholarship (September 2026)
The University of Dundee is offering scholarships of £4,000 per year of study - up to a maximum value of £20,000 - to applicants living in South-East Asia.
To be considered for an award, you must:
- Have submitted an application to study at the University of Dundee for January 2026, and received an Offer for a full-time, on campus Course. Please see our Key Facts and Terms and Conditions documents below for exclusions.
- Hold International Fee Status as determined by the University of Dundee, which is communicated in your Offer letter.
- Be currently residing in a South-East Asian country as highlighted in the country list above.

(RUK) Academic Excellence Bursary - 2026-27
The Academic Excellence Bursary is available to students who meet the following criteria:
- You must be resident in the UK and classified as an RUK fee paying student by the University of Dundee. Your fee status is confirmed in your Offer Letter, and we can only confirm your eligibility for the bursary after you have received your offer to study with us.
- Enrol at the University of Dundee in September 2026 on your first undergraduate programme in any of our disciplines excluding Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. If you are not sure which School your programme is delivered by, you can check this on the course page for your programme.
- Have entry qualifications of AAB or above at A-Level. If you do not have A-Levels, but meet the other criteria for this bursary, you can take a look at our grade equivalencies for other types of qualifications we accept. If your qualification is not listed on our grade equivalencies, this means we are not able to accept your qualification as an alternative to A-Levels.
