You will study both pure and application-driven mathematics. By the time you finish your degree, you will be able to use maths to solve practical problems.
Modern maths uses computers. We will introduce you to various mathematical software, preparing you for industry.
Our course will deepen your knowledge of mathematical techniques in
- industry
- science
- engineering
- commerce
- finance
- education
You will also develop your analytical skills to an advanced level.
The math skills you develop will help you analyse the data used in our Psychology modules.
Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour. Topics we cover include:
- how babies learn
- how people's mental skills develop as they grow older
- personality types
- social group dynamics
You will also study different psychological disorders.
On this course, you will learn how to think critical and solve problems. We will teach you how to analyse data to become a confident communicator of science. You will also learn how to plan and analyse your own research project.
