Social Work courses

Explore undergraduate and postgraduate social work courses at the University of Dundee which lead to registration as a qualified social worker in Scotland.

Train to become a registered social worker in Scotland with our undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Study the four-year BA (Hons) or, if you already have a degree, the two-year MSc.

Both courses combine academic learning with supervised practice placements and lead to registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.

You'll also work alongside people with direct experience of social work services through our Carer and User Group, helping you build practice skills grounded in real perspectives.
