International Business BSc (Hons)
Focus on the external factors affecting global business operations and what they mean on today's world
You may be eligible to start BSc International Business in January
We offer International Business as BSc or an MA. The main differences between these are at Levels 1 and 2.
The BSc (Hons) option is for you if you want to study more business specific subjects. In the first two years, you focus on business, management, economics and finance related core modules. We also have a three and a half year International Business - accelerated BSc (Hons) available for Rest of UK and International students.
We live in a world where business operations are becoming increasingly global in scale. National boundaries now matter very little to decisions about where goods are made and services provided. In this course you will learn what this means for today's business world.
The course has economics at its core, covering micro and macroeconomics. However, it is much broader than a standalone economics degree. It analyses the major external factors affecting global business, globalisation and applied policy.
This course is accredited to CMI Level 5 Award and/or Certificate (*dependent on modules taken) in Management and Leadership
Students on an accredited course, undertaking the qualifying modules, will receive complimentary membership at Affiliate level of CMI throughout the course of their studies (see Membership Benefits), certification that they have achieved the relevant CMI award, and one year of complimentary membership after graduation with an option thereafter to renew their membership.
Our degrees are flexible, and this gives you the chance to focus on a specific area that interests you. It also shows future employers where your specific interests and skills are.
We also offer International Business with the Scottish MA qualification – MA International Business. The option you choose to study is what will be printed on your graduating certificate.
