This course offers you the opportunity to carry out an in-depth life sciences research project in one of the leading and most productive research universities in the field of molecular cell biology.

You will gain valuable real-world experience working in a live research environment alongside our expert staff, many of whom are world-leaders in their respective fields. As a part of our collaborative team, you will be helping to break new ground on real science projects.

Choose your top three projects

As part of your application you'll be asked to choose your top three projects. You can find the current list of available projects on the teaching and assessment page.

You will have access to our labs, which are open-plan to encourage interdisciplinary working, and include state-of-the-art technologies, equipment and expertise to facilitate your research, such as microscopy and proteomics.

Throughout the course you will develop an advanced level of knowledge on your topic of interest as well as the ability to perform independent research in that area.
