The Academic Excellence Bursary is available to students who meet the following criteria:
• You must be resident in the UK and classified as an RUK fee paying student by the University of Dundee. Your fee status is confirmed in your Offer Letter, and we can only confirm your eligibility for the bursary after you have received your offer to study with us.
• Enrol at the University of Dundee in September 2024 on your first undergraduate programme in any of our Schools excluding Medicine, Dentistry and Education & Social Work. If you are not sure which School your programme is delivered by, you can check this on the course page for your programme.
• Have entry qualifications of AAB or above at A-Level. If you do not have A-Levels, but meet the other criteria for this bursary, you can take a look at our grade equivalencies for other types of qualifications we accept. If your qualification is not listed on our grade equivalencies, this means we are not able to accept your qualification as an alternative to A-Levels.

How to Apply
There is no separate application form for this bursary, as your eligibility will be assessed as part of your course application. Once we have made you an offer to study at the University, we will notify you via email if you are also eligible for the bursary. Once you have enrolled at the University of Dundee onto your programme, our Student Funding Team will be in contact with you to confirm your award and how we will pay this bursary to you. Please keep an eye on your Student Email account for this email as this is the only way we can contact you.
If you feel you should have been awarded this bursary and have not been notified from either our Admissions Team or Student Funding Team, please ensure you get in touch with our Student Funding Team by the end of Semester 1.
