  • surveying and a geology residential camp

Time will be spent in the design studio, where design tutorials, groupwork, and project reviews will take place.  This environment provides the opportunity for students to further develop their knowledge and understanding of concepts covered in other parts of the programme in various exercises and practical-type applications. 

Assessment

Assessment methods include:

  • formal exams
  • coursework (technical reports, designs, projects, scientific essays)
  • class tests
  • oral presentations
