Science and Engineering Mathematics 1B module (EG12003)

This module will provide students with the necessary pre-requisite mathematical skills and knowledge to handle engineering degree courses. The aims are also to increase student’s confidence in using and understanding mathematics, while building on and advancing the skills acquired in EG11003. Core contents include: logarithms and exponentials; further differentiation; further integration; further trigonometry; further algebra; partial fractions; sequences and series; plane geometry; the geometry of straight lines and planes in three dimensions.
