After 33 years at the University of Dundee, Ian Christie has decided to take early retirement from his post as a Postgraduate Skills Tutor at the School of Medicine in February 2024.

Dr Hadeel Alsirhani completed her PhD research topic, entitled “The biomechanical effects of cross-legged sitting on the lower limbs and their implications for rehabilitation”.

Dr Ahmed Ghazwani completed his PhD research topic, entitled “Biomechanical analysis of Pilates participants and its implication in rehabilitation” in February 2024. His research was supervised by Dr Weijie Wang and Dr Graham Arnold (UDOTS).

The course was well-attended by Consultants and Shoulder Fellows from Europe, Ireland and the UK with attendees gaining hands-on experience of surgical procedures using Thiel cadavers.
