Teaching

Prior experience of working to support assistive technology users and experience of working in an AT supporting environment is a requirement for entry to this course.

You will choose appropriate elective modules to complement your professional background. For example:

  • Human Computer Interaction - for teachers
  • inclusive education practise - for technologists

Assessment

All assessments will be carried out via coursework that will be submitted online. There is no exam requirement.

Most students will combine work-based practice with their academic learning. The course is designed to use work-based opportunities for practical assignments and project work. Students not in a work environment will have the opportunity to engage in placements - these will be arranged on an individual basis.
