TASC ethics

The NHS Research Ethics Committee reviews research involving patients, their data or tissue. Further information can be found on IRAS, on the East of Scotland Research Ethics Service (EoSRES) website or through the HRA.

The University of Dundee’s Research Ethics Committee (UREC) reviews non-clinical research involving human participants outwith the NHS proposed by staff and student. For further information, please visit the UREC web pages.

Student projects must be sponsored by their awarding institution. These will have their own interval ethical review processes.
