Masters by Research

A Masters by Research degree is a Masters-level qualification based around an independent research project rather than lecture attendance and examinations.

The Masters by Research takes one year full-time or two years part-time, which makes it a great option if you are interested in a PhD but want a taste of academic research before committing, or if you would like to develop an advanced level of knowledge in your area and learn key techniques to enhance your career.
