“One of the best things about studying at Kirkcaldy campus is the quiet and serene environment…the warm reception I’ve received makes it feel like a home away from home. The staff are proactive in supporting students – I’ve received the best support and guidance from all my lecturers.”

Tokunbo Ogundiran, MSc Adult Nursing student from Nigeria

With a community feel, the campus contains its own library, clinical skills centre, lecture theatre, and teaching rooms. Situated conveniently opposite the town’s train station and a short walk from the town centre, the campus also benefits from on-site accommodation, a Support Hub and social spaces, including a recently refurbished student hub and dining room.

Situated on Fife’s east coast, Kirkcaldy is less than an hour’s journey from Dundee and Edinburgh by road or rail, making it the perfect location from which to explore the rest of Scotland. Though smaller than Dundee, the town has plenty to keep students occupied.

From the waterfront esplanade and large parks, to its historic buildings and nearby beaches, there is plenty of Kirkcaldy to explore for those wishing to get out and about. The town centre enjoys a lively mixture of established retailers, independent and artisan traders, restaurants and cafes, while a retail park on the edge of town hosts some of the country’s best-known chains, benefitting from ample free parking and regular bus services. Elsewhere, the town enjoys a modern leisure centre complete with swimming pool, several gyms, while sports fans can enjoy professional football, rugby, and ice hockey.
