1 - Stay fit πͺ
It's an obvious one, but getting your blood pumping and muscles working is a great way to stay fit - and build a habit that will help keep you healthy long after you leave uni.
2 - Get fresh air and enjoy the city π³
Loads of our sports take place outdoors which is a great way to enjoy the green spaces and amazing views that the city of Dundee has to offer. Plus, there's nothing like a breath of fresh air (literally) after a long day of studying.
3 - Make friends β€οΈ
When you have a regular routine of getting together with others, you'll get to know them really well - add to that sports trips and socials, and you'll soon have a fully packed calendar and plenty of people to hang out with.
4 - Be part of our campus community π€
Our Sports Union and sports clubs are a core part of our campus community - so by joining, you'll meet loads of people from different courses, backgrounds, and even countries. It's a great way to feel super-connected to other students and what's going on.
5 - Try something new π‘
Uni life is all about new experiences and stepping out of your comfort zone - and what better way to do that than by learning a new skill or sport? Especially when there are people around you doing exactly the same thing!
