Ninewells Campus
Ninewells Campus, in the west of Dundee, consists of Ninewells Hospital and Medical School.
Ninewells Campus is home to the University of Dundee's School of Medicine. It's situated within Ninewells Hospital, which is one of Europe's largest teaching hospitals. It offers various departments, including medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics, psychiatry, and more.
Getting here
Ninewells is on the western side of Dundee and is easily accessible on a regular bus service - the journey takes around 25 minutes from the City Campus and is free if you are under 22.
Facilities
Everything you need for the day can be found here so you won't have to head back into town until you're ready. There are a medical library, separate study areas, an IT suite, a cafe, and lecture theatres including the Gannochy Trust Lecture Theatre. The lower floor of this modern lecture theatre is designed for group work and collaboration.
As well as the hands-on clinical experience within the hospital, Ninewells Campus has a simulation centre. The simulations replicate real-life medical scenarios, so you can practise without putting actual patients at risk.
