About

The Library is open to all University of Dundee students and staff, NHS users, students on placement at local hospitals and subscribers. 

The Library is located on the first floor of Fife Campus.

We have parking available at the front and at the rear of the campus building.

To access the library after 17:00 Tuesday - Thursday you should ring the doorbell on the main entrance door (if the reception is unmanned) and show your University of Dundee student or staff card to be admitted. External library users should show their University of Dundee Library card and another form of photographic ID.

Library resources

Kirkcaldy Campus Library hosts a wide variety of books and journals in both hard copy and e-formats. Although most of our stock is nursing and healthcare related, we have a selection of psychology, sociology, student study skills guides and fiction also. 

We have regular (minimum one per week) van deliveries bringing books from other University of Dundee libraries, if you're waiting for holds to collect. We'll email you to let you know when your hold is available. 

We also have access to numerous online databases including CINAHL, MEDLINE and TRIP. For further information, have a look at our Nursing & Health Sciences Guide, with links to a wide array of journal articles. 

Kirkcaldy Campus Library is Wi-Fi enabled to allow wireless laptop access and printing. We have networked PCs (for non-University of Dundee library members) and borrowable laptops.  A Pay2Print top up machine is on campus, plus a black and white/colour A3/A4 printing/copying/scanning machine.

If you've forgotten your memory stick, headphones, smartphone charger, then just ask at the desk and we can let you borrow some of this equipment.

Our conservatory is a designated 'silent study zone' whilst the main body of the library is a quiet zone.
