Assessment

You’ll study nine core modules over one year. These include healthcare leadership, innovation, and global systems. This will also include key business topics like strategic management and organisational analysis.

Assessment is entirely coursework-based, with no formal written exams. Assessments are designed to reflect real-world challenges in healthcare and management. These include:

  • Written reports and essays
  • Group presentations
  • Case study analysis
  • Reflective portfolios
  • Applied project work

You’ll complete a Management Project Report as your final module, choosing between:

  • A literature-based research report
  • A consultancy-style report based on a real-world problem
  • An internship-based project, potentially sourced via Pagoda Projects or NHS partners

Throughout the course, you’ll develop the leadership skills, global awareness, and confidence to succeed in the healthcare sector – and help shape its future.

Operations Management and Change covers the strategic planning, design, execution, and improvement of an organisation's processes and activities. Learn how to optimise resources, processes, and systems to achieve business goals and adapt to change.
