This module will help you understand how organisations create, implement, and evaluate strategies in today's fast-changing and competitive global environment.

You’ll explore how leaders make strategic decisions by looking at both internal capabilities and external market conditions. Strategy is not only about planning. It also shapes purpose, identity, and action in complex business contexts.

You’ll study both classic and modern theories of strategy, and learn how to apply these ideas to real-world business cases. Through case studies, teamwork, and interactive activities, you’ll develop your ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.

You don't need any prior knowledge of accounting, marketing, or economics. The module draws on insights from these disciplines to give you a rounded understanding of strategic thinking.

You’ll finish the module with practical skills you can use in business, entrepreneurship, or any professional setting.
