The IIM in Health Education and Social Sciences offers a fast track route to a range of degrees including MEd Tesol, MSc Psychology and MSc Social Work.

  • One Term + Master's: 3 months + 1 year

Our courses are normally delivered face-to-face on-campus however due to the current global crisis, some of our courses are available to start online. Allowing you to start your academic journey to a postgraduate qualification as planned.

To gain entry to the IIM course, you need to meet the academic and English language criteria detailed below:

+ Pre-Sessional English (PSE)

Psychology or Education

IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 or equivalent

IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.0 except writing which must be 5.5 or equivalent

Social Work

IELTS 6.0 with no less than 6.0 in speaking and writing

IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.0 except writing which must be 5.5

Advanced Social Work Studies

IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5

IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.0 except speaking & writing which must be 5.5

MSc Social Work/ MSc Advanced Social Work Studies: On application, you should provide a personal statement which demonstrates your knowledge and understanding of social work and your motivation to study it. You should show that you have an understanding of working with people and of the skills, and values that are pertinent to the role of a social worker.
