Dignity at work and study
We're committed to a positive, inclusive environment free from discrimination, harassment, bullying, and victimisation
Harassment and bullying
Harassment and bullying behaviours can take a variety of forms. However, there are legal definitions outlined in the Equality Act 2010. Full details and some examples of the behaviours are in the Dignity at Work and Study Policy appendices:

Support dealing with sexual harassment cases
We appreciate these situations can be hard to navigate. The Equally Safe at Work guidance provides information for line managers on workplace sexual harassment. It aims to build capacity and increase understanding among line managers about how best to respond to and prevent sexual harassment. Increasing understanding about sexual harassment is necessary and its important be aware of how to recognise the signs an employee is being harassed, how to start a conversation, and best practice for responding to a disclosure or report. Take the Sexual Harassment in Higher Education training.
Examples of sexual harassment and links to external support can be found in appendix F of the Dignity at Work and Study Policy.
