Developmental psychology studies how and why human beings change over their lifespan, focusing on cognitive, emotional, and social growth. This module critically discusses historical and contemporary issues in developmental psychology. It aims to give you an understanding of the foundations of social and cognitive development that underpin human psychology.

This module explores the core theories and principles of individual differences and psychopathology, examining psychological traits, intelligence, and personality.

It covers psychopathology's history, theories, assessment methods, and diagnoses, including mood disorders, schizophrenia, anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, eating disorders, and personality disorders.

Social Psychology studies the ways in which our thoughts, feelings, and actions are shaped by those around us. In this module, students will learn about key theories and principles that shape human behaviours.

This module provides a critical understanding of how to design and analyse studies of behaviour and attitudes in Psychology.

This module covers a variety of statistical techniques based on correlation and regression, to be used in the analysis of research data.

You will learn to use advanced correlation techniques, simple and multiple regression, regression with categorical predictors, mediation analysis, and moderation analysis.
