Topics you will cover include compounding, discounting and discounted cash flow analysis, the valuation of stocks and bonds in financial markets, the measurement of risk and the role of risk in asset pricing and financial decision-making, the balance of payments and the influence of macroeconomic factors on trade, the operation of currency markets and theories of exchange rate determination.
