A variety of free, self-directed resources are available to you, which you can access anytime to support your development. Note, that most of the resources are external to the university, therefore the Talent and Development team have not designed or assured these.

Charlie Waller Trust
The Charlie Waller Trust has developed an online learning resource for education staff, providing evidence-based information and resources on a range of mental health issues. The aim is to help non-specialist staff feel more confident in spotting and responding to signs of distress.
British Universities Finance Directors Group (BUFDG)
BUFDG Pro is an e-learning service offered by British Universities Finance Directors Group (BUFDG), with the e-learning available to all university staff. Please register with your university email on first visit to gain access to e-modules relating to financial, tax and procurement compliance.
The Open University – OpenLearn
Access a range of free courses on OpenLearn. If you are new to a subject, or want to build on your current knowledge, OpenLearn offers Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced courses.
