When leaving school for university I wanted a real feeling of independence so it made sense to move to Scotland. At the time, Dundee was well ranked in the world, and it had consistently been very high for student satisfaction. Dundee was also high in the rankings when it came to my chosen degree of Accountancy.

I was part of a team that delivered the best presentation in the module "Advanced Financial Accounting". As a team we each won a £50 Amazon voucher as well as lunch with a rep from the same firm (unfortunately due to Covid-19 the latter has not yet happened).

“I have enjoyed the first 3 years of my degree and I've loved every minute of living in Dundee.”

I've made great friends and been lucky enough to learn from people who have a real passion for passing on their knowledge. Special mention to David Power, Suzanne Fifield, Renzo Cordina and Gizella Marton.

My internship at Deloitte this summer was replaced by an alternative online scheme. I have now been fast-tracked to the final stage interview to work for Deloitte on one of their graduate schemes. The interview is to take place in September, for a role within tax consultancy in their Newcastle.
