We run a hiking trip every Sunday up to the highlands for some Munro bagging and climbing day trips throughout the year on Saturdays. Once a month we run a weekend trip to the highlands, camp out in a bothy and spend the weekend hiking and climbing. Day trips usually cost £10 and weekend trips usually cost £30 respectively, and include fuel, transport, accommodation, and a meal on the weekends!

We are open to all skill levels and interests, from those who want to try hiking for the first time to experienced hikers and climbers who are looking to compete BUCS. Trip signups are at our social every Tuesday night at The Braes on Perth Road at 20:30.

We are socially sponsored by The Braes and Underground, giving members discounts for drinks and meals for each. We run a series of social events throughout the year including semesterly ceilidhs with grand prizes to raise money for Tayside Mountain Rescue.

We offer various opportunities for people to learn and advance their mountaineering and climbing skills with subsidised skills courses such as Winter Skills, SMART, Winter Climbing with Glenmore Lodge and outdoor first aid courses! Each semester we partner up with St John Scotland – mountain safety instructor for a weekend of hiking/climbing training. We have partnerships with two of our local climbing walls therefore we get discounted rates at Avertical World on Tuesdays and Block10 on Thursdays.
