Teaching and assessment for Islamic Finance and Artificial Intelligence for Business MSc

During this module you will meet other students from different courses that share common components. This module will prepare you to get the most out of your studies and further your career after graduation in the world of business.

Apply knowledge, understanding and analytical skills relevant to Islamic Finance to solve real-world issues such as sustainability, circular economy, and climate change. This is a self led module and you will choose one of the following 3 projects: Literature-based Project Report and Consultancy Project Report.

Interpret and solve the economic problems of human beings based on the values, norms, laws, and institutions from an Islamic perspective.

Learn to emphasise fairness, social justice, ethical conduct, and wealth distribution for the well-being of society.

This module develops an understanding of the concepts and principles of Islamic law and their application in commercial transactions. It provides students with an advanced knowledge of the various contracts in Islamic commercial law and their contemporary applications. This module allows for the critical evaluation of modern Islamic financial products.

As every project follows a project life cycle, mastering the project management process is a valuable skill for anyone likely to be involved in any form of project management.

Look into the ethical, societal, and regulatory dimensions of artificial intelligence. You will examine how AI systems impact privacy, fairness, and accountability, and how governance frameworks shape their development and use.

Students will develop their academic English while working with material from their core business modules.
