Teaching

You will learn through a range of teaching methods, including:

  • lectures
  • seminars
  • tutorials
  • discussion groups
  • journal clubs
  • self-directed study
  • supervised laboratory work.

Most of the teaching takes place in Ninewells Hospital, within the School of Medicine. This includes practical work in course-specific teaching labs. You'll also attend the Assisted Conception Unit (ACU) labs and clinics in the hospital.

The artificial intelligence teaching takes place on University of Dundee's City campus. This is provided by the School of Science and Engineering.

Assessment

You will be assessed through a mix of coursework and examination, including:

  • essays
  • short answer questions
  • multiple choice questions
  • lab reports
  • presentations
  • written thesis.
