Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) is the treatment of infertility by manipulating egg, sperm, and embryos. ART techniques and consequent successful treatment require an understanding of the clinical concepts and the complexities involved in ART.

This module covers the clinical issues and controversies relevant to ART and clinical embryology.

This module teaches techniques and practices that go beyond basic embryology, and are critical for research and clinical applications.

In this module you will advance your laboratory skills through practical hands-on sessions, to maximise your learning experience you will perform each practical in a group of 3 or 4 students.

In this module you will plan, carry out and complete a research project. You'll choose a research topic relevant to clinical embryology and assisted conception.
