Advertise your opportunities

Advertise your vacancies free of charge on our JobShop. This is our online portal where our students and graduates can view vacancies including graduate roles, part-time and casual jobs, internships and work experience, and volunteering opportunities.

You can also choose to advertise an unlimited number of vacancies and simultaneously post to other Scottish universities (costs involved).

All vacancies are checked by a member of our team before being published and must meet our terms of use. All adverts must meet our criteria for advertising. We reserve the right to reject any vacancies we feel do not meet our criteria.

Attend our careers fairs

We hold a number of fairs throughout the year including the Dundee Careers Fair and Dundee Law Fair. These are a great way to meet our students and graduates, promote your opportunities, and build awareness of your brand.

Attend one of our Careers Fairs and promote your vacancies while showcasing your company portfolio.

Engage with students

Skills sessions

We run an interactive weekly programme of events led by employers and careers advisers to help our students gain insight into the skills you look for when hiring graduates. These sessions can cover a range of topics such as personal branding, commercial awareness, interview skills, application writing, and a guide to assessment centres.

Guest lectures

We welcome you to give guest lectures on our modules. This is a popular way to reach a large cohort of students.

Mentoring

We look for individuals to mentor the top students enrolled on our Leadership Plus programme. Mentors interact with students on a one-to-one basis over the course of an academic year, challenging and encouraging them to help them build and enhance leadership skills.

Promote your brand on campus

Having a presence on campus can really boost students’ awareness of your brand. We have a variety of activities you can participate in and are more than happy to tailor any activities to suit your requirements. Our team can advise on the optimum time to come on campus and will arrange the venue and promotion.

Some popular activities include:

• presentations and insight sessions - presentations are an opportunity to give an overview what it’s like to work at your organisation, talk through the recruitment process, and highlight upcoming vacancies.
• stalls - we can provide you with a stall in one of our high footfall areas on campus. This is a great way to promote your organisation and opportunities to students, particularly if you’re looking to recruit from different subject areas.
• interviewing - we can arrange for space to be made available for you to conduct interviews.
