Immigration and Visa Support
The University's International Advisers can support you with information on extending your visa, working after studies, visits for family and friends and living in the UK. You can access a range of self-help guides and book an appointment with a trained adviser
Scotland’s Migration Service can help international students with questions about working in Scotland, visas and immigration. The Scottish Government has partnered with Citizens Advice Scotland to provide you with immigration support. This online advice service can help you work out your next step when your student visa is coming to an end. The service can also help you understand how to extend or switch your visa if you’re on the Graduate Visa route. What’s more, eligible users can also book free, impartial and confidential one-to-one advice appointments with a qualified adviser.
