Photographic collections

We have a huge range of photographic material including a large collection of stereoscopic slides and major photographic collections which are of local, national and international significance. These include the work of photo-journalists Michael Peto, Alex Coupar and Alex Low, who each captured everyday scenes of post-war Britain and across the globe, as well as recording the worlds of the arts, of UK and international politics and of local industry.
