Our University records go back to our foundation in 1881 as University College, Dundee. They include minutes, reports, correspondence, film and photographic material. We have the records of bodies connected to the University such as Dundee College of Education and the College of Art, now DJCAD.

The collections also contain research and other material created by members of staff such as Sir Patrick Geddes, Sir D’Arcy Thompson, Professor RP Cook, Professor Spear and Dr Le Comber and papers created by departments and schools, such as the Department of Anatomy

Students are represented in the collections through photographs, student publications, and the records of student unions and student societies.
