We are the official repository for the records created by NHS Tayside and its predecessors. These include administrative and management boards as well as 19th and 20th century hospitals and asylums across Angus, Dundee and Perthshire.
The collections contain the records of each board or institution, including information on staff and patients, about medical developments, public health strategies and patient care. They include reports, financial records, case notes, employment records, photographs and plans.
All clinical records remain closed for 100 years.
