Belmont Tower incorporates Balfour Flats, it is located centrally on the main campus, yet is only 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

Belmont Tower

Belmont Tower accommodates 80 students within 10 self-contained flats. Each flat has 8 bedrooms (6 Premier and 2 Standard). Each flat has its own fully fitted kitchen with dining area.

Balfour Flats

Balfour Flats comprise two floors (raised up on stilts). Each floor accommodates 13 students (all Standard rooms) and each floor has 2 kitchens with dining areas. Balfour Flats are the closest accommodation to the Students’ Association, and would suit students looking to take full advantage of the vibrant programme of student activities.

In total Belmont Tower & Balfour Flats accommodate 106 students from the UK and around the world.

In your kitchen

Our spacious modern kitchens provide plenty space for cooking, dining and socialising. They come furnished with:

You'll need to bring

Plates, bowls, cutlery, pots and cooking utensils, dish cloth and cleaning materials.

You can get all of these things in local supermarkets, but your new flatmates might have already brought somethings which they're happy to share.

Bedding: Sheets, pillows and duvets can easily be bought at supermarkets and department stores in Dundee, or you can bring them from home.

The City Campus is a ten minute walk to the majority of city centre shops. Plus with the opening of the new Seabraes Pedestrian Bridge it's now just a 10 minute walk to Tesco Extra. The DUSA Premier Shop provides essential shopping right on campus, and the independent local shops of Perth Road are just a fifteen minute walk from your door.
