Teaching
We are reviewing the structure of this course for 2026/27 entry
Teaching will take place in the Dental School and Hospital which is on campus, at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee and in local and regional dental clinics.
Teaching methods include:
- lectures
- tutorials
- practical laboratory sessions
- workshops
- clinical skills classes
Our course is longer than normal University courses as the General Dental Council require a total of 102 weeks to be completed.
Assessment
You will be assessed throughout your course using:
- online multiple choice formats
- assessments of practical and clinical skills
- coursework
- reflective portfolio
