Dundee is ranked 26th in the overall table, a remarkable rise of 26 places, in The Guardian University Guide 2026 (published in September 2025).

In the subject rankings we are in the top ten in the UK for twelve subjects:

• Animation and Game Design (2nd)
• Dentistry, Architecture, Pharmacy and Pharmacology, and Product Design (all 3rd)
• Computer Science and Forensic Science (both 7th)
• Biomedical Science (8th)
• Mechanical Engineering (9th)
• Fine Art, Graphic Design, Medicine (all 10th)

These results are testament to the commitment and great work of colleagues and students across the University, and the quality of teaching and the student experience here at Dundee.
