Advance payment of tuition fees for international fee status

Updated on 21 April 2022

If you have accepted an unconditional offer from us, and you have International (Overseas) fee status, you will have to pay a tuition fee deposit

On this page

We cannot issue an Admissions Letter or a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) until you have paid this tuition fee deposit.

For students joining us in January 2022 the minimum tuition fee deposit is £1,000.

For students applying for courses starting from 2022/23 onwards, the minimum tuition fee deposit is £2,000.

Please upload proof of payment of the deposit into My Applications on eVision. All pre-paid tuition fees and payments towards University accommodation will be listed on your CAS statement for your visa application.

If you need to apply for a Student visa, we recommend that you pay more than the minimum fee deposit. This shows you are committed to studying with us. We have seen from previous students that this can improve the strength of visa applications.

If you are a funded (or sponsored) student, then you need to upload your letter of confirmed funding to My Applications. You don't need to pay the tuition fee deposit in addition to this, as long as your letter of funding confirms you are a funded student.
