Progression to the medicine A100 course will be dependent on passing:

  • all the Gateway modules and achieving an average B3 grade.
  • a professionalism portfolio.

There is no requirement to do a University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) or the Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) during the Gateway year as part of admission to MBChB A100. An interview may be required for entry on to the Gateway course.
