Teaching and assessment for Architecture with Urban Planning RIBA Part 2 MArch (Hons)
Teaching
Our teaching takes place in small groups and individual tutorials, led by experts in both disciplines.
At Level 4 you will study urban design strategies and tackle a complex integrated design project, creating design solutions from urban to detail scale, supported by architectural theory.
At Level 5, you will complete modules in urban planning as well as a design-led research project which will help you develop your knowledge in both disciplines.
Assessment
You will primarily be assessed through:
- design projects - which draw together architectural and urban planning skills,
- reports or essays - which examine architectural and urban design history and theory, contemporary management, practice or law
