Teaching and assessment
for Human Anatomy MSc
You will be taught using various methods including:
- whole body dissection (in small groups of 3-4 people)
- practical labs
- group work
You will carry out an original research project, presenting your work both at a seminar and as a written dissertation, which will be carried out under the supervision of one of our expert anatomy staff.
We have a variety of formative assessments, to give you feedback and prepare you for your end of module exams, and summative assessments, to test your knowledge, skills and level of critical analysis. Most modules have both coursework and exam elements.
Examples of assessment include:
- anatomy practical spot test
- creation of an online learning resource
- written examination
- oral exam
- production of a technical anatomy resource
- oral presentation
