Teaching

You will be taught using various methods including:

  • lectures
  • whole body dissection (in small groups of 3-4 people)
  • practical labs
  • group work
  • demonstrations
  • tutorials

You will carry out an original research project, presenting your work both at a seminar and as a written dissertation, which will be carried out under the supervision of one of our expert anatomy staff.

Assessment

We have a variety of formative assessments, to give you feedback and prepare you for your end of module exams, and summative assessments, to test your knowledge, skills and level of critical analysis. Most modules have both coursework and exam elements.
