Dentistry and the Law module (FM52003)

Stage 5 (SCQF level 11)

During this module you will learn to understand what is meant by ethics in Dentistry and how to evaluate & critique the ethics of patient relations, delegation of duties and abuse in Dentistry. You will also get a critical understanding of the difference between dental law and dental ethics and be shown how to assess and evaluate international requirements to make and keep accurate dental records and how to assess the types of malpractice, fraud and negligence in Dentistry.
