This research advances the practice and facilitation of participatory speculative design through a research-through-design methodology. Across a series of iteratively designed workshops and speculative activities, I am assessing the quality and character of interdisciplinary exchange and the resulting regenerative insights through qualitative analysis of the creative outputs and the process. 

A further area of inquiry concerns the role of participatory facilitation in broadening the perspectives brought into the speculation. This includes consideration of more-than-human agency. By developing and evaluating a portfolio of participatory speculative design approaches, the study seeks to better understand how different forms of participation and their facilitation influence relational literacy,
