We are delighted to be re-opening and welcome you back to Cooper Gallery in October. To help us to keep you and others safe we have introduced new safety measures in line with Scottish Government and University of Dundee COVID-19 guidelines. Here we're outlining useful information on some of the changes we've implemented to ensure the safe and comfortable return for visitors and staff.
New opening times
Tuesday – Saturday, 11am–4pm
Our upcoming exhibitions will remain free but now be ticketed.
Please book in advance selecting an available time slot on Eventbrite. Visit exhibition webpages to book.
Exhibition viewing is available through 1hr time slots. If you wish to visit for longer please feel free to book multiple slots.
There is a maximum capacity of 10 people per hour to ensure physical distancing of 2metres is maintained in our three gallery spaces.
Tickets for our next exhibition, A is for Avant-Garde, Z is for Zero: Laura Mulvey and Peter Wollen can be booked here.
What we will do:
Our staff will be wearing face coverings within the gallery, observing physical distancing and guidance for regular handwashing. We have put in place additional cleaning measures for all contact points within the gallery and wheelchair accessible toilet.
During your visit we would ask that you please:
· Sanitise your hands on entry using the dispenser provided
· Wear a face covering inside, unless you are exempt from doing so
· Maintain 2 metres apart from other visitors and staff
. Observe the one-way signage in the gallery
Our ground floor wheelchair accessible toilet will be open and contact points cleaned regularly by staff throughout the day.
Please remember, stay at home if you’re feeling unwell, or have been in contact with someone who has coronavirus, and follow NHS coronavirus guidelines.
