Gender Equality
We’re working to make the University – and the wider world – a fairer place for everyone, whatever their gender identity, in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals
The University of Dundee is committed to advancing equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) for students, staff and community, through the creation of a positive and supportive environment for all. This commitment is embedded in our University strategy and our gender equality plan sets out how we will deliver on that commitment.
We launched our EDI strategy in September 2024, built on four foundational interlocking themes:
- Inclusive campus communities
- Workforce diversity
- A vibrant research culture and environment
- Equity in educational achievement and experience
