Using your subject: Humanities
Learn how to use a degree in Humanities to enhance your career prospects
My name is Martyna, the Humanities Careers Adviser
I have been working in this role at the University of Dundee for the past six years. As a part of my job, I work with students in individual career guidance appointments, and I lead on the delivery of our Level 2 Career Planning module. My previous experience at Higher Education includes Undergraduate and Postgraduate Admissions, Student Recruitment, and Widening Participation.
I hold an undergraduate degree in International Relations and Politics and a Postgraduate Certificate in Inclusion & Learner Support from the University of Dundee. I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Career Education, Information and Guidance in Higher Education from the University of Warwick. During my time in the Careers Service, I became a licensed Belbin Teams practitioner, and a fully trained AGCAS Peer Trainer.
Outside work, I enjoy long walks in the woods, and it wouldn’t be an understatement to say I am obsessed with alpacas. I believe in natural medicine and holistic approach to wellbeing. My friends would also say I am not too bad at interior design and crafts.
Feel free to have a look at some of the resources listed below, and I am here to support you with the exploration of your career plans and personal development.
I am looking forward to meeting you in the guidance room soon, either online or in person.
