Undergraduate In Practice degrees
Boost your practical knowledge and employability skills in years 3 and 4
There are four 'In Practice' honours courses. A three‑year degree route is often called advanced entry or direct entry. This will allow you to begin your studies in the second year of the course. As a result, you can finish a standard Bachelor Honours degree in three years rather than the usual four.
- Applied Finance in Practice BSc (Hons)
- Business Economics BSc (Hons)
- Business Management in Practice BSc (Hons)
- International Business in Practice BSc (Hons)
Internship
Undergraduate In Practice degrees emphasise practical knowledge and employability skills, featuring an 8-week internship in China, Vietnam, or the UK (Manchester) in the summer between years 3 and 4. The internship is integrated into the curriculum as it serves as the basis for a credit-bearing business project.
The internship is paid for by the School of Business and managed by a third party who has had a long relationship with us in managing internships for our masters programmes. Students only have to pay for their flights and living expenses (excluding accommodation and utilities) while interning in country.
