We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a part-time research technician within our Kobayashi Group , to support the day -to-day running of an academic research laboratory . This is a fixed -term appointment for an initial period of 24 months with the possibility of extension .

Your priorities will include:

  • Isolation and handling of mouse oocytes/embryos
  • Microinjection of mouse oocytes/embryos
  • Genotyping
  • Preparation of media and buffers
  • General molecular biology experiments (e.g. DNA and RNA purification)

  • Prior experience in embryology and molecular cloning
  • A candidate should be passionate about research and have a strong drive to contribute to scientific advancement
