Student-Led Teaching Awards Nominations 2023

Three UDOTS staff members have been nominated for this year’s Student-Led Teaching Awards (SLTA).

The Student-Led Teaching Awards are run by Dundee University Students’ Association (DUSA) and are an opportunity for students to recognise, reward and celebrate the achievement of academic and non-academic staff who go beyond the ordinary.

Best Postgraduate Supervisor

An outstanding postgraduate supervisor is someone who ensures that the student learning experience is the best it can be. This award goes to the supervisor who has excelled at guiding academic Postgraduate Taught or Postgraduate Research journey, providing support, advice, and direction.

Innovation in Teaching

This award recognises a member of staff who is known for finding new and innovative ways of teaching and/or supporting students. The learning experience has had to change dramatically over the last few years and innovation in the delivery of teaching has been crucial. This award goes to a member of the teaching staff who has excelled in adapting and innovating their approach to teaching.

Most Inspirational Teaching

This award goes to a member of the teaching staff who has engaged and inspired students. This is an individual who is passionate about their subject and that has empowered students to take ownership of their learning by supporting students to maximise their academic potential and love for a subject.
