Research into training in forensic science

What we are doing

We are creating a series of high quality, relevant training modules which will allow current forensic science professionals and students at all stages of education to access the most current, authoritative information associated with forensic science and scientific evidence in the courtroom. 

Why we are doing it

At the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science we want to make sure all professions involved in the criminal justice process have access to the latest research and make this research accessible and understandable.

How we will do it

We will create a series of online training modules for CPD and professional development. They are appropriate for a range of audiences and not limited to forensic scientists. Our current courses are:

• Introduction to R(RStudio) Programming
• Learn Basic Statistics
