This project is focused on gathering information from the general public in relation to how well they perceive and trust forensic science evidence and forensic scientists.  Three types of evidence are considered: digital evidence (to be taken from digital devices), DNA evidence and facial recognition.

Members of the public can share their thoughts on forensic science by participating in the following quizzes:

Care to share your Phone?

Care to share your DNA?

Care to share your Face?

This project is funded by both the Leverhulme Trust and UKRI “Trust in forensic science evidence in the criminal justice system: The experience of marginalised groups”.

Our partners include: The Open University, University of Birmingham, University of York, De Montfort University, The University of Edinburgh and UWE Bristol.
