Claire qualified in medicine from Dundee University and continues to work part-time as an NHS consultant psychiatrist. Her research interests were previously centred around addiction medicine and drug deaths.
In 2020, Claire joined CAHID as a MSc student in Forensic Anthropology. After completing her MSc degree, she started a part-time PhD focusing on a review of stature estimation methods in relation to the biological profile considering factors such as accuracy, reliability and inter observer error.
